Massó Museum Monument · Bueu, Morrazo, Pontevedra Museum founded in 1932 in the Massó brothers' own cannery in Bueu (Pontevedra), at the suggestion of Guglielmo Marconi, who in 1928 had been impressed by their nautical collection; the Xunta acquired it in 1994 and it now tells the history of canning, salting and whale hunting. The building, in art deco style by Sebastián Lores González, was erected in 1926 as the second factory of Massó Hermanos S.A., a company founded in 1894 by Salvador Massó Palau and later expanded by his sons, which also came to have factories in Cangas do Morrazo, Avilés and Barbate and gave employment to generations of the town.
