The destruction of the castle of Sobroso by the irmandiños

During the second irmandiña revolt (1467-1469) the peasants and townsmen pulled down the fortress that dominated the Tea valley; shortly afterwards Pedro Madruga rebuilt it and made it one of his bases in southern Galicia.
