Tower of o reloxo da Arnoia Monument · Arnoia, Ribeiro, Ourense Image of Arnoia, not of the place itself. Granite tower more than fourteen metres high raised in 1945 with money sent by the concello's emigrants in Montevideo, not as a bell tower but to give the exact time by which the irrigation turns were shared out among the neighbours. It was carved by the stonemason of Remuíño Manuel García Vermello and became the emblem of the town. Photo: Luis Miguel Bugallo Sánchez (User:Lmbuga) (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Arnoia
