The Bread Festival of Cea

A day dedicated to the bread protected by the geographical indication, with ovens open and kneading on view in the town that has made it since the 13th century, when grain was milled for the monastery of Oseira. The festival has been held since 1991 to promote this artisan bread, is declared Festa de Interés Turístico de Galicia, and has led to the traditional ovens of the concello being restored, as well as new ones being built.
