Beach of Lóngara

Lóngara beach lies on the Cantabrian coast of the province of Lugo, in the parish of San Pedro de Benquerencia, at the western end of the Barreiros coastline, close to the mouth of the Masma; it forms part of the string of beaches that, together with Altar, San Bartolo, Remior and Moledo, trace the coast of the municipality. Besides bathers in the summer season, in recent years it has drawn surfers throughout the year.
