Shrine of Santa María de Conforto

Monument · A Pontenova, Mariña Oriental, Lugo

Raised between 1662 and 1664 to designs by Diego Ibáñez Pacheco, it crosses the Baroque with Renaissance and Neoclassical echoes; the gallery was added in 1713 and the upper body of the tower in 1744, and it belonged to the archbishopric of Oviedo until 1954.
