Climbing dune formed by the Atlantic wind, which pushes the sand up the slope until it covers the hillside and places it among the largest in Europe and among the most notable climbing dune formations of the Galician coast; it is included in the protected area of the Costa da Morte, a site of Community importance and SPA.
