Convent of Discalced Carmelites raised in the eighteenth century thanks to the forty thousand duros donated by Alonso de la Peña y Montenegro, bishop of Quito — the works are placed between 1729 and 1762 and the inauguration in 1752 — a Neoclassical building of three storeys with a façade of three arches on pilasters and an image of Saint Joseph carved by the sculptor Xosé Ferreiro, which dominates the centre of Padrón from the hillside.
