A celebration declared of Interés Turístico Internacional (the official category granted to Spain's most outstanding festivals), taking place in the last ten days of July; its main night is that of the 24th, with the fogos do Apóstolo and a monumental light projection onto the façade of the Obradoiro. The festivities centre on 25 July, the feast of St James the Great and Galicia's National Day, and combine religious acts with the fireworks launched from the cathedral the night before.
