Porto de Espasante is a locality in the parish of Espasante, in the A Coruña municipality of Ortigueira, in the Ortegal comarca, which in 2009 had 432 inhabitants, compared with 558 in the year 2000. A fishing port for an artisanal fleet that works outside the ría, its cove, closed off by three peninsulas, allows the coastal hillforts overlooking it to be explored on foot, within the extensive Ría de Ortigueira, one of Galicia's most protected wetlands.
