English Way Activity · Culleredo, Coruña, A Coruña Image of Culleredo, not of the place itself. The Camiño Inglés is the pilgrim route used by pilgrims who arrived by sea from the British Isles and other northern European ports, disembarking at A Coruña or Ferrol to head for Santiago de Compostela. The A Coruña branch, under 100 kilometres long and divided into three stages, sets out from the city of A Coruña and crosses the municipality of Culleredo along the do Burgo seafront promenade, passing the Acea de Ama mills, the Alvedro castro and the Valiñas river, before continuing towards Carral, Cambre and Abegondo on the way to Compostela. Although its length is shorter than usually required, since December 2016 the Compostela cathedral chapter has granted the Compostela certificate to those who complete it.
