Privately owned manor house distinguished by its tower and by its thick walls, with two hórreos and a dovecote within the precinct; it is the second great gentry residence of Negreira after the pazo do Cotón and forms with it and with Baladrón the Ruta dos Tres Pazos. Its name coincides with that of the river that is formed in the neighbouring lands of the A Baña valley.
