Peraleda de San Román, en el Geoparque Villuercas-Ibores-Jara

268 inhabitants (INE 2025), 470 m in altitude, 62 km², in the Navalmoral de la Mata judicial district and the comarca of La Jara. The settlement arose in the 16th century; Pascual Madoz described it in 1849 as land "unfruitful, two-thirds of it covered in scrubland." It had as many as 1,612 inhabitants in 1950. It is part of the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark.
