271 inhabitants (INE 2025), between 320 and 418 m in altitude (the town center sits at 366 m), 46.47 km². In 1594 the area was known as Búrdalo and belonged to the Tierra de Trujillo. The A-5 motorway crosses the municipal area between kilometers 275 and 282.
