Campo Lugar, entre dos núcleos

790 inhabitants (INE 2025), 73 km² split between two settlements: the seat, Campo Lugar (more than 500 inhabitants), and the colonization settlement of Pizarro (about 450 inhabitants). The village is medieval in origin, formed after the reconquest of Trujillo in 1232 on lands granted to the Order of Alcántara, from which its former name, "El Campo de Alcántara," derives.
