Almoharín, capital de la breva

Village · Almoharín, Comarca de Trujillo, Cáceres

1,771 inhabitants (INE 2025), 307 m in altitude, 97.3 km². Alfonso IX reconquered the area around 1223-1230; in 1598, under Philip II, the town purchased its title of villa. A Roman villa from the 1st-4th centuries was discovered during works in 1991.
