Santiago del Campo, entre Hinojal y Garrovillas

250 inhabitants (INE 2025), 349 m in altitude, 73.33 km², about 25 km from Cáceres. There are remains of Iron Age settlement at El Castillejo; historically it belonged to the señorío (lordship) of Monroy and was established as a municipality in the 19th century. It belongs to the Tajo-Salor mancomunidad (association of municipalities).
