Hermitage dedicated to the municipality's patroness, the Virgen de las Nieves. Local tradition tells that a woman drawing water from a well saw a polychrome carved image of the Virgin emerge; as a procession set out toward the nearby hermitage, the sky clouded over, the temperature dropped sharply, and it even snowed in the middle of summer, which is the origin of her title (Our Lady of the Snows).
