La leyenda de la Virgen de Altagracia

According to local tradition, the image of the Virgen de Altagracia was found by a farmer in a tree. The altar of her hermitage faces away from the village, which legend attributes to the memory of an attempted theft of the image of the Christ Child by residents of a rival town.
