The festivities of Xeresa (La Safor, Valencia) in honour of Saint Anthony of Padua, patron saint of the town, are held on 13 June, the saint's fixed feast day in the liturgical calendar. The municipality also celebrates other religious festivities throughout the year: Saint Anthony the Abbot on 16 and 17 January, Our Lady of Mount Carmel from 13 to 15 July, and its major patron saint festivities in the third week of August, dedicated to Saint Isidore, Saint Raphael, Our Lady of Sorrows and once again Saint Anthony of Padua.
