Separation of the Morisco hamlets of Llaurí

The district depended on Corbera until in 1437 Alfonso the Magnanimous separated from that jurisdiction three hamlets of Morisco population. After the expulsion the place was left almost empty and went from eighteen houses in 1646 to eighty-three at the end of the eighteenth century.
