Holy Cave of the Cabriel

The Cueva Santa del Cabriel is a sanctuary located in one of the ravines of the Cabriel River, dedicated to Our Lady of the Cave, protector of the harvest. A traditional pilgrimage sets out from Fuenterrobles (Valencia) every second Sunday in May, covering 15 kilometres to the cave, where an open-air mass is held, followed by a communal lunch with traditional music and dancing in which all the villagers take part.
