The barony of Bicorp

Historical milestone · Bicorp, La Canal de Navarrés, Valencia

Image of Bicorp, not of the place itself.

In 1392 Luis de Castellar Vilanova received the title of first baron of Bicorp, and his coat of arms is still preserved on the castle façade. The municipal district, of Andalusi origin, brought together the two baronies of Bicorp and Benedriz, the latter now depopulated.
