Ecomuseum of Bicorp Monument · Bicorp, La Canal de Navarrés, Valencia A museum project in Bicorp focused on the archaeological, ethnological and palaeontological heritage of the Canal de Navarrés comarca. Launched in 2005 by the town council and the Museum Network of the Valencia Provincial Council, with funds from the European Leader+ programme, it opened its Interpretation Centre in 2009 in a three-storey building on calle San Roque. Its contents are organised into three sections: the rock art of the Mediterranean Arc, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with examples such as the Cueva de la Araña; the ethnological heritage of traditional Bicorp society, covering mountain life, farming and cave houses; and the palaeontological site of ichnites of the Tambuc, evidence of dinosaurs in the Valencian Community.
