Parish Church of San Antonio de Padua of Negrón Monument · Vallanca, El Rincón de Ademuz, Valencia The parish church of San Antonio de Padua, in the hamlet of Negrón, in the municipality of Vallanca, in the comarca of the Rincón de Ademuz, holds parish rank despite being in a small settlement. Its origin may be earlier, but from the 18th century a hermitage under this dedication is already documented, which spared residents the journey to the church in Vallanca; from 1868 it attained the rank of parish served by a rector. The building, with a rectangular plan comprising a chancel, nave and choir loft above the door, has a plain façade of Franciscan simplicity, with an austere lintelled doorway and a quadrangular brick bell tower built in 1952.
