Castle of Busot Monument · Busot, L'Alacantí, Alicante Image of Busot, not of the place itself. The castle of Busot, of Arab origin and estimated to have been built in the 12th century, stands in ruins on the outskirts of the town. From it was driven the old traditional glass industry that characterized Muslim Busot, a craft activity linked to the fortress during the Middle Ages. Today it survives completely in ruins, as an archaeological testimony to the municipality's Islamic past. Photo: Kasiber (Wikimedia Commons) (Public domain) What to see and do in Busot
