Moors and Christians festival of Santa Pola, held around the 1557 Renaissance Castle-Fortress, between 31 August and 8 September, coinciding with the patronal festival of the Virgin of Loreto. It includes a landing, embassies and the symbolic conquest and reconquest of the castle, entry and gala parades with floats, a floral offering to the patroness, fireworks and the final solemn procession.
