Beach of El Altet Nature · Elx/Elche, El Baix Vinalopó, Alicante El Altet beach is one of the beaches of the district of the same name in Elche (Alicante), on the municipality's nine kilometres of coastline, awarded a Blue Flag. It stretches for 2000 metres of fine golden sand, with calm waters and moderate waves, in an almost pristine setting with no large urban developments. To the north it joins Urbanova beach, already in the municipality of Alicante, and to the south, Arenales del Sol and the Carabassí dunes. Its dune system, of high ecological value, connects with the Fondet de la Senieta and nearby areas such as the Clot de Galvany, the Santa Pola salt flats and the El Hondo Nature Park, making it a benchmark for its lightly developed coastline.
