Municipal Park of Elche

The Municipal Park of Elche is one of the best-known parts of the Palmeral de Elche, a public garden with century-old date palms right in the centre of the city. It covers about 7 hectares, formed by the grouping of several old orchards devoted to date-palm cultivation. In its northern area is the Municipal Arboretum of Elche, of about 5,000 square metres, opened in 1991.
