El condado de Lerín Historical milestone · Lerín, Tierra Estella, Navarra Image of Lerín, not of the place itself. In 1425 King Carlos III el Noble created the county of Lerín for his daughter, a title that passed to the Beaumont family and gave its name to the Beaumontese faction, which for decades was pitted against the Agramontese faction in the civil wars of the Kingdom of Navarre. The town was definitively incorporated into the Crown in 1507 after the conflict between the two lineages. 1425 Photo: Jialxv (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Lerín
