Etayo Village · Etayo, Tierra Estella, Navarra A municipality of 72 inhabitants declared a royal town (pueblo realengo) by Teobaldo II in 1234, between the plain and the foothills of Mount Monjardín. Its church of the Asunción preserves a 13th-century Romanesque baptismal font; a local tradition holds that every fig tree in the village has an owner. 1234 Photo: Indalecio Ojanguren (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Etayo
