Los Arcos Village · Arcos, Los, Tierra Estella, Navarra A town of 1,177 inhabitants on the Odrón river, a classic stop on the French Way of the Camino de Santiago between Estella and Logroño. Its name recalls the 'golden arches' granted by Sancho Garcés IV after the Battle of Valdegón (1067); the church of Santa María, of Romanesque origin from the 12th century, incorporates a Plateresque portal from 1591 and a 15th-century Gothic cloister.
