On the last Sunday of August, Uharte Arakil celebrates the Artzai Eguna or Shepherd's Day, declared a Fiesta de Interés Turístico (Festival of Tourist Interest) of Navarre, with sheepdog trials, sheep's-cheese tastings, and traditional music.
