The Lizarraga mountain pass, on the boundary between the Sierra de Urbasa and the Sierra de Andía at 1,031 m altitude, takes its name from the Ergoiena council of Lizarraga. The NA-120 road between Estella and Beasáin (Guipúzcoa) crosses it by means of a tunnel; access is also usually made from neighboring Etxarri Aranatz.
