Alongside the Baroque church of San Juan Bautista (17th century, with inscriptions from 1216), Bakaiku preserves the hermitage of Santiago in the village center, that of San Benito with notable mural paintings, and that of Santa Marina, in the Sierra de Urbasa, with views over the Burunda valley.
