A municipality formed by the places of Arraiza (capital), Ubani and Zabalza, in the Pamplona basin, with 297 inhabitants in 2024. It borders Ciriza and Etxauri to the north, Cizur to the east, Puente la Reina/Gares to the south, and Belascoáin, Bidaurreta and Etxauri to the west. Arraiza was incorporated into the municipality of Zabalza in 1938, though it remained the seat of the town council as the most populous and central settlement.
