Lantz's carnival, held on Carnival Monday and Tuesday, centers on the capture and burning of Miel Otxin, a figure representing the spirits of evil: on Monday he is captured and paraded around the village to the sound of the chistu and tamboril, and on Tuesday he is symbolically executed and burned amid zortziko dances.
