Navarre's first cultural facility conceived specifically for contemporary art, covering 6,500 m². Sources do not agree on the exact month of its opening: the Spanish-language edition of Wikipedia places the inauguration in October 2007, while other specialized sources date it to April of that same year, after construction was completed in 2006. It was first run by the Ordóñez-Falcón foundation and, since 2009, by the Fundación Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Huarte, funded by the Government of Navarre.
