Cendea de Olza/Oltza Zendea Village · Cendea de Olza/Oltza Zendea, Comarca de Pamplona, Navarra A municipality about 10 km from Pamplona formed by nine settlements: Arazuri, Artázcoz, Asiáin, Ibero, Izcue, Izu, Lizasoáin, Olza, and Ororbia, the last of which is its capital. The name Olza probably derives from the Basque 'o(h)ol' ('wooden board') plus the suffix '-tza', and is documented as 'Olça' in the 11th century. The official name changed from 'Olza' to 'Cendea de Olza' in 2006. Orcoyen (now Orkoien) split off as an independent municipality in 1992.
