A municipality 4 km north of Pamplona, independent since 14 March 1991 after separating from the old Cendea de Ansoáin. It preserves a historic core (Pueblo Viejo) at the foot of Mount Ezkaba and a modern expansion on the plain. Its monuments include the ermita de San Miguel and the church of San Cosme y San Damián.
