According to Juan Ortega Rubio it was dedicated to Saint Martin until 1576, the year it passed to the dedication of the Natividad. The presbytery and transept, from the second third of the 16th century, are covered with ribbed vaults, with two chapels and the sacristy at the sides; the nave, somewhat later, has a lath-and-plaster vault with lunettes, and in the 18th century the chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary was added. The brick tower rises beside the main entrance. It is included in the municipality's catalogue of protected elements together with the hermitages of Saint Mark and Saint Christopher and the sluice-gate house of the Real Acequia del Jarama.
