Bridge of Arganda y el frente del Jarama

The bridge over the Jarama, built in 1821 and rebuilt in iron in 1843, was a central objective of the Battle of Jarama between 6 and 9 February 1937: holding it stopped the rebel troops from cutting the Valencia road.
