Dehesa of Navalcarbón Nature · Las Rozas de Madrid, Área Metropolitana, Madrid An extensive municipal dehesa of 120 hectares located between the A6 motorway and the M-50, very close to the Európolis shopping centre and the Las Rozas fairground, where bunkers and trenches from the 1936 and 1937 fighting on the La Coruña road are still visible. It is crossed by an artificial river that follows the route of the old Guadarrama canal, whose construction began and was interrupted in the late eighteenth century. It forms part of the forest belt linking up with the Regional Park of the Upper Manzanares Basin. Photo: Asqueladd (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Las Rozas de Madrid
