Coat of Arms of the Montagut Monument · Móra d'Ebre, Ribera d'Ebre, Tarragona The Montagut coat of arms, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest, is found on the façade of the house of Ramon Montagut, in the town centre of Móra d'Ebre, on the corner between the plaça de Dalt and the carrer d'Isabet. It is a rectangular stone panel with a shield divided into four quarters: the first and fourth show two rows of lozenges, and the second and third a steep mountain with a prominent peak; the whole is crowned by a knight's helmet in profile surrounded by plant motifs. The Montagut family received rights over Móra d'Ebre in the 11th century, where they settled, and in 1148 Sanç de Montagut accompanied Ramon Berenguer IV in the conquest of Tortosa.
