The Festa Major de la Torre de Fontaubella is held on the first weekend of August, the date to which the feast of the Nativity of Mary, from 8 September, was moved in the 1950s because it coincided with the hazelnut harvest. The village is documented since 1170 and belonged to the Monestir de Sant Miquel d'Escornalbou.
