Catalan Corts held in Montblanc

Historical milestone · Montblanc, Conca de Barberà, Tarragona

Image of Montblanc, not of the place itself.

The villa hosted sessions of the Catalan Corts in 1307, 1333, 1370, 1410 and 1414, which gives an idea of its political weight in the Crown of Aragon. The meetings were held in the church of Sant Miquel, still standing.
