Museum of Art i Història de Reus Monument · Reus, Baix Camp, Tarragona The Museu d'Art i Història de Reus occupies a building constructed as a block of flats by the architect Antoni Sardà, with a monumental three-part facade onto the Plaça de la Llibertat — the central section of eight storeys and the side sections of six — topped on the central section by a pediment with twelve semi-columns with Corinthian capitals. The first municipal museum, opened in 1934 in the Casa Rull, moved to this building, expressly built to house it, on 15 September 1961. Managed by the Reus Municipal Institute of Museums, which also manages the Centre d'Art Cal Massó and the Museu d'Arqueologia Salvador Vilaseca, in 2026 it completed a full renovation of its interior that updated the museum display and incorporated new audiovisual technologies.
