The Festa del Vermut de Reus, officially known as the Vermutada Popular del vermut de Reus, is held in the second half of June in the city, the Catalan capital of this drink. In Reus vermouth is made by two local houses, Yzaguirre and Vermut Miró, and it is also used to prepare the masclet, a combination with the Plim soft drink unique to the city.
