Northern Slope of the Aigüestortes National Park

Nature · Naut Aran, Val d'Aran, Lleida

Image of Naut Aran, not of the place itself.

The north slope of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is the northern access to the park from the Val d'Aran, in the municipality of Naut Aran. From the Baños de Tredós a path sets off to the Colomers refuge, and from this slope the Restanca refuge is also reached; in summer there is a taxi service that brings visitors to the start of both paths, easing access to the park without having to walk the first stretches of the valley.
