Town Hall of Bossòst

The town hall of Bossòst, in the Valle de Arán (Lleida), occupies a corner of the village's main square. According to the description Pascual Madoz gave of the building in the mid-19th century, it was a spacious though plain-looking construction, above whose door stood a marble image with an inscription recalling the gift made by Juan Van Halen in 1842. That commemorative plaque remains the most distinctive feature of the town hall's façade.
